Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2022, the White Alone population in Michigan was 7,906,674 and represented 78.80% of the total Michigan population (10,033,281).

Among Michigan counties, Wayne County had the highest number of people who identified as White Alone (961,258), followed by Oakland County (948,701), and Macomb County (683,185). Keweenaw County had the lowest (2,089).
