Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2021, the Black or African American Alone population in Georgia was 3,548,577 and represented 32.89% of the total Georgia population (10,790,385).

Among Georgia counties, Fulton County had the highest number of people who identified as Black or African American Alone (474,781), followed by DeKalb County (408,015), and Gwinnett County (295,435). Towns County had the lowest (145).
