According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2023, the number of births for Illinois was 127,001. Cook had the highest number of births (51,823), followed by DuPage (9,734), and Will (6,967) On the other hand, Pope had the lowest number of births (13), followed by Calhoun (26), and Hardin (33).
