US American Indian & Alaska Native Alone Population - Health Insurance Coverage Status By Age Group in 2021 (ACS-5Yrs)

Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, among the 2,657,246 US American Indian & Alaska Native Alone population, 80.68% of them had a health insurance coverage (i.e. 2,143,909 people), and 19.32% did not have a health insurance coverage (i.e. 513,337 people).

The following age groups of the American Indian & Alaska Native Alone population, had the highest percentage of their population group that did not have a health insurance coverage: the 19 - 64 Years age group (25.48%), followed by the Under 19 Years age group (12.74%), and the 65 Years and Over age group (2.05%).
