Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the percentage of the New Mexico Black or African American Alone population (aged 25 years and above) who had an educational attainment of High School Graduate or Equivalent was 21.34%. Among all New Mexico cities and places with a population of 10K or higher, Chaparral CDP had the highest percentage of its Black or African American Alone population (aged 25 years and above) with an educational attainment of High School Graduate or Equivalent (62.50%), followed by Española city (57.14%), and Lovington city (51.01%).
