Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, there were 115.25K people in New York with French Canadian ancestry (0.57% of New York population). Among all New York cities and places with a population of at least 10K, Ogdensburg city had the highest percentage of its population with French Canadian ancestry (7.23%), followed by Massena village (7.15%), and Plattsburgh city (6.33%).
