Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, there were 47.82K people in New Mexico with Italian ancestry (2.27% of New Mexico population). Among all New Mexico cities and places with a population of at least 10K, Rio Rancho city had the highest percentage of its population with Italian ancestry (4.73%), followed by Los Alamos CDP (4.05%), and North Valley CDP (3.88%).
