Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2017, the US Non-Hispanic Asian Alone citizen population was 12,398,045 and represented 4.15% of the total US citizen population.

Among all US states and DC, California had the highest Non-Hispanic Asian Alone citizen population (4.25M), followed by New York (1.16M), and Texas (856.23K).

In terms of percentages, Hawaii had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Asian Alone (34.65%), followed by California (12.61%), and New Jersey (7.37%).
