Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the US Hispanic or Latino of All Races citizen voting-age population was 21,686,250 and represented 10.08% of the total US citizen voting-age population.

Among all US states and DC, California had the highest Hispanic or Latino of All Races citizen voting-age population (5.92M), followed by Texas (4.21M), and Florida (2.12M).

In terms of percentages, New Mexico had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Hispanic or Latino of All Races (38.87%), followed by Texas (26.49%), and California (25.64%).
