Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the US Non-Hispanic Asian Alone citizen population was 10,596,395 and represented 3.69% of the total US citizen population.

Among all US states and DC, California had the highest Non-Hispanic Asian Alone citizen population (3.74M), followed by New York (985.61K), and Texas (662.69K).

In terms of percentages, Hawaii had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Asian Alone (35.64%), followed by California (11.74%), and New Jersey (6.39%).
