According to the FBI UCR data, in 2020, there were 8,565 adult arrests made in US cities for vagrancy offenses.
By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (5.56K), followed by Black or African American (2.51K), and American Indian or Alaska Native (372).
By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 7,879 (92%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (6.45K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (1.43K).
