US Property Crime Clearance Rate By Crime Type in 2018

According to the FBI UCR data, in 2018, the clearance rate of Property Crimes for all US agencies was 17.6%. Property crimes are crimes were a property is damaged, destroyed, or stolen without the use of force against the victim.

Arson had the highest clearance rate (22.4%), followed by Larceny-Theft (18.9%), and Burglary (13.9%).
