According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 3.7% (sa) in November, 2023. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Nevada (5.3%), California (5.1%), and District of Columbia (5%).

On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: South Dakota (1.8%), Vermont (2%), and North Dakota (2.2%).
