According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 4% (sa) in June, 2018. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Alaska (6%), District of Columbia (5.7%), and West Virginia (5.1%).

On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: North Dakota (2.3%), Hawaii (2.4%), and Vermont (2.5%).
