According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Nevada was 12.2% (sa) in October, 2009. Among all Nevada counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Lyon (15.3%), Nye (14.6%), and Clark (12.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Lander (5.4%), Elko (6.3%), and Eureka (6.8%).
