According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Florida was 8.4% (sa) in September, 2012. Among all Florida counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Hendry (15.2%), Putnam (12%), and Indian River (11.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Lafayette (5.6%), Monroe (5.8%), and Franklin (6.2%).
