According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Florida was 8.3% (sa) in October, 2012. Among all Florida counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Hendry (13.6%), Putnam (12%), and DeSoto (11.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Lafayette (5.5%), Monroe (5.7%), and St. Johns (6.3%).
