According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Florida was 8.1% (sa) in December, 2012. Among all Florida counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Putnam (11.7%), Hendry (10.6%), and Citrus (10.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Monroe (5.4%), Lafayette (5.7%), and St. Johns (6.2%).
