According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Florida was 8.5% (sa) in August, 2012. Among all Florida counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Hendry (17.6%), Indian River (12.7%), and Putnam (12.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Lafayette (5.8%), Monroe (5.9%), and Franklin (6.5%).
