According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2007 Q3, the average weekly wage for Vermont was $699. Among all Vermont counties, Chittenden County had the highest average weekly wage ($812), followed by Washington County ($726), and Windham County ($666).

On the other hand, Grand Isle County had the lowest average weekly wage ($503), followed by Essex County ($556), and Lamoille County ($565).
