According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2003 Q3, the average weekly wage for Vermont was $599. Among all Vermont counties, Chittenden County had the highest average weekly wage ($690), followed by Windham County ($612), and Washington County ($585).

On the other hand, Grand Isle County had the lowest average weekly wage ($402), followed by Lamoille County ($481), and Essex County ($489).
