According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2003 Q2, the average weekly wage for Vermont was $608. Among all Vermont counties, Chittenden County had the highest average weekly wage ($702), followed by Washington County ($615), and Windham County ($600).

On the other hand, Grand Isle County had the lowest average weekly wage ($439), followed by Essex County ($473), and Orleans County ($488).
