According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2009 Q4, the average weekly wage for South Carolina was $763. Among all South Carolina counties, Aiken County had the highest average weekly wage ($897), followed by Fairfield County ($874), and Berkeley County ($855).

On the other hand, Bamberg County had the lowest average weekly wage ($546), followed by McCormick County ($551), and Clarendon County ($563).
