According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2005 Q2, the average weekly wage for South Carolina was $620. Among all South Carolina counties, Aiken County had the highest average weekly wage ($786), followed by Greenville County ($678), and Spartanburg County ($666).

On the other hand, Bamberg County had the lowest average weekly wage ($436), followed by Saluda County ($456), and Dillon County ($461).
