According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2003 Q3, the average weekly wage for New Hampshire was $689. Among all New Hampshire counties, Hillsborough County had the highest average weekly wage ($778), followed by Grafton County ($684), and Rockingham County ($682).

On the other hand, Carroll County had the lowest average weekly wage ($460), followed by Coos County ($506), and Sullivan County ($542).
