According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2009 Q4, the average weekly wage for Maryland was $1.05K. Among all Maryland counties, Montgomery County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.30K), followed by St. Mary's County ($1.16K), and Howard County ($1.13K).

On the other hand, Garrett County had the lowest average weekly wage ($617), followed by Worcester County ($621), and Caroline County ($677).
