According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2003 Q2, the average weekly wage for Maryland was $760. Among all Maryland counties, Montgomery County had the highest average weekly wage ($917), followed by Baltimore city ($803), and Howard County ($796).

On the other hand, Worcester County had the lowest average weekly wage ($411), followed by Garrett County ($445), and Allegany County ($505).
