According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2003 Q3, the average weekly wage for Alabama was $607. Among all Alabama counties, Washington County had the highest average weekly wage ($763), followed by Madison County ($754), and Choctaw County ($717).

On the other hand, Perry County had the lowest average weekly wage ($407), followed by Geneva County ($410), and Crenshaw County ($428).
