Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Poverty Rate for Virginia was 9.94%. Among all Virginia counties, Radford city had the highest poverty rate (35.39%), followed by Norton city (28.28%), and Lee County (26.17%). On the other hand, the following 3 counties had the lowest poverty rate: Falls Church city (2.48%), Loudoun County (3.32%), and Goochland County (4.19%).
