Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Poverty Rate for Tennessee was 14.28%. Among all Tennessee cities and places with a population of at least 10K, Martin city had the highest poverty rate (29.2%), followed by Lawrenceburg city (28.09%), and McMinnville city (27.74%). On the other hand, the following 3 cities and places had the lowest poverty rate: Nolensville town (0.99%), Germantown city (2.36%), and Spring Hill city (2.49%).
