Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, among the 302,044 of the Non-Hispanic White Alone households in South Dakota, there were 16,505 households (5.46%) that had a household income that fell in the $200K - and Over category, and there were 18,425 households (6.10%) that had a household income that fell in the $150K - Less $200K category.
On the other hand, there were 84,004 households (27.81%) that had a household income that fell in the Less $40K category, and there were 26,265 households (8.70%) that had a household income that fell in the $40K - Less $50K category.
