California Household Income Distribution in 2021 (ACS-5Yrs)
Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, among the 13,217,586 households, there were 1,996,956 households (15.11%) that had a household income that fell in the $200K - and Over category, and there were 1,314,071 households (9.94%) that had a household income that fell in the $150K - Less $200K category.
On the other hand, there were 3,206,302 households (24.26%) that had a household income that fell in the Less $40K category, and there were 820,295 households (6.21%) that had a household income that fell in the $40K - Less $50K category.
